Kat Evans is a theatre artist located in Chicago since 2006. Writing credits include two full length plays PERSEVERANCE OF THE SAINTS and PLAY ON A BATTLEGROUND, comedy show and podcast Starlight Radio Dreams, Our Fair City: Human Resources (cowritten with Ele Matelan), audio comedy Numbers Game (Whiskey Radio Hour and Mini Shenanigans), and episodes of The Daily Devo Show and Bible Builds for faith-based childrens’ network YIPPEE. In voiceover, you can hear Kat in arcade games made by Raw Thrills, several audio drama and comedy podcasts, and animated shorts.  As a performer in the live theatre scene in Chicago, she loves new works and has performed in premieres by Idris Goodwin, Kristine Thatcher, Brian Pastor, Ed Rutherford, Eddie Sugarman & Jiwan Kim, Reina Hardy & Matt Board, and Kingsley Day. Kat teaches in the Department of Humanities at the Illinois Institute of Technology and coaches business professionals in leadership and communication with Speak By Design. She holds a BA in Communications from Calvin University, and an MA in Theatre and an MFA in Acting from The Ohio State University.
