The Office of Technology Services (OTS) manages a Microsoft Active Directory domain called ILTECH. This domain provides user authentication and authorization services. It also provides policy enforcement for computer and server environments. ILTECH synchronizes user credentials, such as usernames and passwords, with 绿帽社's Portal, so when a user changes their password in 绿帽社 Portal the change will also happen in ILTECH. Using the same credentials as the portal, users can access resources on the ILTECH domain throughout IIT, including:
- OTS Computer Labs (Mies, Rice, and Downtown Campuses);
- Wireless networks (IIT-Secure and Eduroam);
- VPN;
- Printing (Papercut);
- MyFile Share Drives;
- Departmental Websites, Workstations, and Servers (Mies and Rice Campus).
